This is a wonderful portrayal of an Indian Woman by an Indian man. Bhagat has conveyed to the reader what it means to be a successful career woman making loads of money. In turn Radhika meets men who are either threatened by her, or see her only as a career woman to the exclusion of marriage and motherhood from her life. Radhika wants to be allowed to decide for herself what role she wants to play in her life and when. Will she find a supportive man in her arranged husband-to-be Brijesh? Or will her past catch up with her? It is definitely worth your while to read the book and find out.
