About the Author
Margaret Evans is a well-known artist and practical art teacher who specializes in figure work and portraiture as well as pastel painting. She has exhibited her work with the Pastel Society, the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, and the United Society of Artists. She has made a number of practical art videos and is the author of "Collins 30-Minute Painting: Pastels," "Flowers in Pastel," and "Painting Figures and Animals with Confidence." Paul Hardy is a former architect who has produced two videos on pastel and watercolor techniques. A member of various art societies, he has exhibited his work widely throughout the UK and some of his paintings are held in international private collections. He is the author of "Landscapes in Pastel" and "Light in Pastel." Peter Coombs is an artist who has exhibited in the UK, France, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, America, Canada, Japan, and Australia. He is the author of "Painting with Pastels."
