Synopsis
Dieser Buchtitel ist Teil des Digitalisierungsprojekts Springer Book Archives mit Publikationen, die seit den Anfangen des Verlags von 1842 erschienen sind. Der Verlag stellt mit diesem Archiv Quellen fur die historische wie auch die disziplingeschichtliche Forschung zur Verfugung, die jeweils im historischen Kontext betrachtet werden mussen. Dieser Titel erschien in der Zeit vor 1945 und wird daher in seiner zeittypischen politisch-ideologischen Ausrichtung vom Verlag nicht beworben.
Synopsis
In der Frage, ob das Prinzip von Virchow oder das von Rokitansky als Grundlage fUr die Sektionsmethode richtiger sei, sind die Meinungen geteilt. Zweifellos haben beide Methoden ihre Vorziige. Allein richtig ist es wohl, die Methode der Sektion jeweilig dem Fall anzupassen. Das geschieht auch im allge- meinen und begriindet zum Teil die Unterschiede in den Sektions- methoden, wie sie sich an verschiedenen Instituten ausgebildet haben. Das pathologische Institut der deutschen Universitat in Prag befiirwortet die Anpassung der Sektionsmethode an den Fall mit dem Prinzipe von Rokitansky als Grundlage. Die Erfahrungen damit waren immer die besten und veranlaJ3ten, die Methode der Sektion nacli Organsystemen unter Beriicksichtigung der regionaren Lymphknoten und der GefaJ3e weiter auszubauen. Sie leistet uns in dieser Form gute Dienste und findet Anerkennung. Dem vielfach geauJ3erten Wunsche, dariiber zu berichten, konnte ich seIber bisher nicht nachkommen, weshalb ich dem Vorschlage von Dr. Halpert gerne zustimmte, dies zu unter- nehmen, mit der Absicht, dabei auch die Anatomie mehr zu beriicksichtigen und in anderer Weise, als es hisher in den Sektionsmethoden iihlich war.
