Synopsis
In its first edition, the Pediatric ICD-10-CM: A Manual for Provider-Based Coding will assist pediatric providers and coders with a condensed version of the ICD-10-CM manual. This resource was developed so that only pediatric relevant codes and provider- based guidelines are included. With the expansion of codes from ICD-9-CM to ICD-10-CM, the size of the ICD-10-CM manual will grow, making the manual difficult to use. By removing the codes and guidelines that do not pertain to pediatrics, the manual has become more user-friendly and easier to navigate.
