Ce qui m'importe n'est pas tant de seduire que de convaincre.
Que si l'on me reproche de n'avoir pas fait dispa raitre de ces pages tout ce qui n'a pas trait directe ment a nos revendications nationales et a la reprise des provinces perdues, je repondrai d'abord qu'il y aurait eu hypocrisie, sinon lachete, a dissimuler mes opinions personnelles et a faire le silence sur les graves conflits politiques auxquels j'ai ete mele.
