A shame that Joe Bageant did not live to see this book arrive to be shipped to folks here in the USA as he recently passed away.... The book is a true and accurate representation of both his life and the lives of many in the Hills & Hollars of West Virginia. Rainbow Pie is a tribute to a people that live and love their families and the land on which they live. It is most enjoyable because of the fact that it is very raw and real. Very well written by a man that put his whole heart into sharing his story with all of us.
