"Remember Me."
These are the words carved on the dead body of a local judge's assistant . . . the very local judge who Wick Tate is investigating as part of her undercover hacking for her not-exactly-favorite cop, Detective Carson.
Wick had thought her troubles were over.
But she should've known better.
Now she's embroiled in the "Remember Me" murder case, which doesn't stop at one body. Plus, she's got the threat of her imprisoned dad and his cronies hanging over her head, the fragile shell of a family to keep together, and new evidence surrounding her mother's suicide to dig through.
She also has to find a balance between trying to be the "good" person her boyfriend, Griff, thinks she is and the "vengeful warrior girl" her new hacker friend, Milo, thinks she's meant to be.
The pressure might be too much, as secrets—including Wick's own—climb to the surface.
Wick has persevered before. But can she do it again?
