Powell's 2023 Book Preview: The Second Quarter
(0 comment)
Although spring may be teasing us with its sunshine more than following through with any promises (we saw that weird snow flurry the other day, spring), there’s always one constant we can rely on: the months of April through June have some killer new book releases. These upcoming books are filled with aliens and haunted houses...

A facinating book looking at the complex process in which people take on beliefs of being less worthy than others and the social circumstances these beliefs are created in. Its about people who end up taking the rap for other people - not just the criminal rap but the rap any negative quality can bring but its about how this gets planted inside an individual who grows into believing they are intinsically in some way a bad person - worse than others. Its not actually a self help book but explains how this process happens in history as well as including personal specific examples. An important book not only for therapists but for anyone who wants to explore outsider issues.
