Synopsis
In the early nineties, Raphael Cushnir experienced a period of profound shock, heartbreak, and disillusionment when he learned that his wife was having an affair and that she had decided to abandon their marriage. After struggling with grief and depression for months he one day had an epiphany that completely altered the way he approached the world and enabled him to recapture a state of peace and joy. Since then, he has devoted himself to sharing his experience with others and teaching his own personal method of moving through the conflicts, traumas, hang-ups and fears that prevent us from living rewarding lives. His process -- called "Living the Questions" -- involves asking yourself questions, being open to whatever answers you may receive, and then learning to "be" with those answers. By doing so, we can overcome the obstacles that life throws our way and open ourselves to greater happiness and fulfillment.
"Setting Your Heart on Fire" shares Cushnir's "Living the Questions" process and outlines an inspiring recipe for enriching one's life. His seven steps or invitations help readers to understand and move through what is holding them back and then open themselves to a deeper spiritual love that provides the key to personal growth and contentment. The seven invitations are:
