About the Author
Carolyn Wheat, a former defense attorney with the Legal Aid Society in Brooklyn, New York, is the author of four previous Cass Jameson novels, including Where Nobody Dies, the Edgar Award-nominated Dead Man's Thoughts, Fresh Kills and the Edgar Award-nominated Mean Streak. Her short story, "Life, for Short" published in the collection Sisters in Crime 4, was nominated for a Macavity Award, and her short story, "Accidents Will Happen" published in the collection Malice Domestic 5 was nominated for an Agatha Award.
