Although some of the punctuation used was a bit over-done it is over-shadowed by the mere content/story of the book. This is what "A Million Little Pieces" should have been because this is non-fiction and not exagerated.
This person/author has been through so much in the time-frame of the book that it's a wonder she is alive to write about it.
I think this gives a great understanding to family members/loved ones of people who struggle with addiction. It is also inspiring for those who suffer from this disease to bring them hope that they too can overcome.
I read this in one sitting as I could not put it down.
