Synopses & Reviews
A state-of-the-art new anatomical and radiolgical atlas, developed at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science in Medicine, University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf. It is the successor of VOXEL-MAN Junior brain and skull. The material is organized as a set of interactively explorable scenes, each of which shows a special aspect of anatomy, radiology, or both. The size of the pictures have been increased, the vascular system has been added, and the number of scenes viewed in stereoscopic format has been increased, as well as the quality of the display. The VOXEL-MAN 3D-Navigatior is multilingual.

Voxel-man 3D-navigator ... can help the students and the professionals ... to get a better insight into the 3D relationship of the structures in the human body." (J. Verschakelen, European Radiology, Vol. 13 (4), 2003) "Voxel-man 3D navigator is an anatomical CD ROM ... . The 3D images which require red/green spectacles (supplied) are truly spectacular. The package is well presented, easy to navigate, has multilingual ... capabilities and access to an e-mail help desk.
