ELIOT PATTISON is a world traveler and frequent visitor to China, whose numerous books and articles on international policy issues have been published on three continents. He is the author of six books set in Tibet, featuring former Inspector Shan Tao Yun, including the internationally acclaimed, award-winning The Skull Mantra and the soon to be released The Lord of Death (Soho, 2009).
