13 Reasons Why is an excellent book. It is filled with suspense, love and mysteries. It was so hard to put the book down because each page took you in further and further into a new mystery. This book is about a girl who committed suicide. No one knows why she did it but she is leaving behind some clues: tapes. She is sending around tapes that she recorded her message onto and sending them to the 13 people that gave her a reason to kill herself. A boy named Clay is the main character who receives the tapes. He keeps waiting for the right tape: the tape that tells him what he did wrong. Once he finds it, he puts it into the tape player, shuts out the sound around him, and listens intently, “Clay, its okay. You did nothing wrong. I am going to tell you what you did right…” That is just some of the suspense waiting for you to come and pick up the book. It takes your breath away.

An outstanding read should include action, adventure, suspense and some romance. Sabotaged by Margaret Peterson Haddix has it all. Jonah and Katherine go on another time traveling adventure back to c.1600 with their friend Andrea and a dog named Dare. When they thought their mission had been completed, danger strikes them. An evil man who had appeared to be good has ruined time. Jonah and Katherine will have yet another adventure to fix time. It all depends on Jonah and Katherine. As Jonah always thinks about the bad sides of the situations, he still thinks, “This is also another chance.”

Missing 02 Sent

Sent, By: Margaret Peterson Haddix Sent is an outstanding read. It had me on the edge of my seat all throughout the story. After I finished a chapter and said I would stop here, I just had to keep reading. Sent is a mix of lots of adventure, mystery, a little romance and even some history. Jonah, Chip, Katherine and Alex time traveled to the 15th centaury, Chip and Alex’s original time. They all go on a big adventure to find out why Richard III betrayed Chip and his family, why are people trying to kill Chip and Alex and so much more. Something that will keep bugging you in your mind is something JB questions, “Safe for me to talk out loud?” If you want to know the answer, you should read the book and find out. Trust me, you will wish there was more to read.
