When I was writing my book,
Brutes
, there came a point where I wanted to be thinking about it even when I was so tired of it I couldn’t bear to look at it anymore. I was also terrified of leaving it alone, like the book would forget me if I stopped reminding it I was there...

This was the first book I'd ever read by Sarah Dessen. MY sisters and friends had told me to read it over and over and I finally picked it up and was instantly pulled right in! One of my favorites by her!

This book was very good. The way they portrayed the character as well as the hardships he had to face in a place where so many people had fallen into his position is amazing!

Uglies 01
by
Scott Westerfeld

I found this book to represent a lot of what's happening right now, with the influence to change and be someone you're not. With the futuristic and dramatic spin on society Scott Westerfield's "Uglies" is a great read.

Scott Westerfield is one of my favorite authors and out of all his books, this is one of my favorites. With the set up in between those different chapters, I found myself yearning for the education behind it rather than the story itself.

I loved this book. Aside from the somwhat amatuer writing, which I found was a bit simplistic, it was a very good read.
