With more than 60 million athletes involved in sports in American, it is estimated that one coach will impact more people in one year than the average person does in a lifetime. Today's coach could be one of the greatest greatest authoritative figures in the life of todays adolescent. So the question isn't whether coaches leave a legacy, but rather,
What will that legacy be?
Current trending research shows that only 15% of coaches are intentional about coaching beyond the skills and strategies of the game (1st Dimension). A 3-Dimensional Coach understands and harnesses the power of the coaching platform to coach the mind (2nd Dimension) and transform the heart (3rd Dimension), tand they can be the catalysts for internal transformation that guides both the coach and the athlete on a spiritual journey to finding purpose in this performance-based culture of sport.
Now thats a legacy!
In 3D Coach, you will learn from National Coaches Training Director Jeff Duke about his own journey through the three dimensions of coaching and how it has impacted his life and those around him. You will also read the personal stories of coaches from all levels who have implemented the 3D concept into their own programs and who have pointed to Jesus Christ, the Master Coach, as the ultimate example of how to lead athletes to true significance.

3D Coach is an important resource for every coach in America. It doesnt matter what level of sport you are coaching, buy it, study it and keep it beside your Bible as a supplement and guideline for coaching in a meaningful way. Jeffs stories are profound, his honesty inspiring and his wisdom and teaching on point. I will be reading and rereading this inspirational book with the same passion I study game film! I believe it will help you truly win, as it gives you lots to think about and a clear vision of what 3D coaching is all about!

Something happened to me when I read
3D Coach. My spirit was awakened. Jeff had me walking in his shoes as a coach, as an athlete and as a father. His stories caused me to look at the Bible in a different light. All of my coaching thoughts, questions and challenges now make sense. Jeff has given coaches a blueprint to become a better coach, father, husband and Christian. This book will be on my desk to inspire me and guide me daily. Thank you, Jeff.

Review
3D coaching is not simply another philosophy of coaching. It is a paradigm shift in purpose that leads to the outcomes we all desire, but often fail to achieve. As a Division 1 wrestling coach, I can truly say that this shift has influenced our staff, our athletes and me in a dynamic way. This material is hands down the best I have ever seen for coaches who truly want to have an impact and to pursue excellence.

Synopsis
One of the desires of interdenominational Christian sports ministry, Fellowship of Christian Athletes is to equip coaches to become people who coach biblically and intentionally, coaching their athletes in all three dimensions: body, mind and spirit. Most coaching is done in the first dimension (strength, power, cardiovascular, speed, quickness, technique, repetition and tactics) and in the 2nd dimension (motivation, confidence, intensity, focus, emotions, mental imagery, goal setting and team cohesion). The purpose of 3D Coach is to show coaches how to coach in the 3rd dimension, where they will capture the hearts of their athletes. 3D coaches know how to lead athletes to true significance as they play an instrumental role in the internal transformation of the athletes who have been entrusted to their care.
