IN permitting the following trifle to be inscribed to your Grace, an impor tance may be attached to it, which its intrinsic merit may not wholly justify. To literary eminence it cannot have the least pretension; but as a succinct record of the atchievements of one of the first Packs of Fox Hounds in the Kingdom, under the most experienced Sportsmen, its fidelity and accuracy may safely chal lenge every possible scrutiny.
