Synopsis
The story is written in the voices of four teenagers, aged 14 - 15, growing up in the 1960's, coping with religious prejudice. The manuscript explores religious bias and from where it arises. The story, through the perspective of the boys, explores whether that prejudice can change and what might influence the change.I believe the book hits the mark about a story of prejudice, its origins, and the possibility of change. My novel is relevant in the current climate. The book will hit home in a real way to middle grade/YA kids. The story is unique and will draw readers in as they identify with each of the four main characters.
