He is the author of The African American Woman's Guide to Successful Makeup and Skincare and Born Beautiful: The African American Teenager's Complete Beauty Guide. He lives in New York City. Yvonne Rose is a former makeup artist and skin-care consultant. She has been a fashion and beauty editor for several magazines, including BlacTress, Class, and Sophisticate’s Black Hair Styles and Care Guide. She lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
