Synopsis
Each new generation invigorates the Church with fresh perspectives, methodologies, and approaches to ministry and discipleship. But older generations, still enjoying the fruits of their own success at refreshing the Church, are often apprehensive about relinquishing leadership--worrying the next generation might throw out the proverbial baby with the bathwater. Exacerbating the problem is the failure of both generations to communicate effectively with one another.
In Ageless Faith, father and son authors Keith Drury and David Drury seek to bring all generations to the table for respectful and fruitful dialogue about some of the most controversial issues facing the Church in the coming generations. Dealing with timely issues, such as worship, community, race, alcohol, and women in leadership, father and son model the kind of dialogue that empowers generations to define their differences, while still respecting one another and remaining connected.
