Synopsis
Albert and Henrietta Johnson's love story explodes across the social fabric of a Tasmanian valley community with all the energy of the dense smoke and crackle of a bushfire common to the area. They confront Family Law and Reigious beliefs of the period 1930's post WW I and The Great Depression to WW II -1950's with tenderness and compassion as the medically untreatable epidemics and freezing cold pneumonia threatening winters that claim young lives. Their strategy for survival is the raw truth of parents common to the period substantially lost to those of the 21st Century.
