Review
The first retrospective collection by Linda Gregg,“one of the more impressive, generous, and wise of todays front-line poets” —Library Journal
“Linda Gregg brings us back to poetry. She helps us see how we can once again engage the sublime and the tremendous, in our polluted and corrupt time. Her subject is loss and separation and the intense search for redemption, which she is able to realize through a profoundly honest, and moving, language. She is original and mysterious, one of the best poets in America.” —Gerald Stern
Review
“Linda Gregg is a visionary poet. The fact that this is not immediately apparent constitutes the power of these extraordinary poems, poems that have been accumulating with a quiet, slowburning majesty for nearly four decades.” —JAMES LONGENBACH, from the citation for the 2009 William Carlos Williams Award
