Have you ever felt invisible; like people didn’t see the real you? Well, that’s how Shannon saw the role in her large family. She was the one who gave and did things for everyone else, at the cost of her own happiness. Would she ever find happiness?
This is another story of one of the Baker family members. I just love this family and the whole community of Walker Beach. I couldn’t put the book down because I was so invested in the lives of these characters.
I truly enjoy reading books written by Lindsay Harrel. She brings such wonderful lessons to our hearts through her books. This story had many tender moments woven throughout. There were also times where my heart broke and I felt the emotional pain of the main character. To me, this is what makes a fantastic author. When a reader becomes so invested in the story they are reading, that they feel all that the characters are feeling.
This book is a sweet tale of family relations, friendships, tender love, heart's desires, and a beautiful lesson of how God really does want to take our burdens, our dreams, and bless us more than we could imagine. This is a tale of reconciliation and standing up for what you believe in. It’s a story of finding a voice and a purpose.
I highly recommend you read this book! It's a sweet story that will touch your heart!
I was given this book by the publisher which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
