About the Author
Lee Bennett Hopkins is a poet and anthologist and has been honored with the Christopher Award, the University of Southern Mississippiand#8217;s Medallion for and#147;lasting contributions to childrenand#8217;s literature,and#8221; and the NCTE Award for Excellence in Poetry for Children. He lives in Cape Coral, Florida.
Marla Baggetta is a fine artist and free-lance illustrator whose work has appeared in art galleries, books, advertising, and magazines. She lives in West Linn, Oregon.
