About the Author
Richard Wilford is the collections manager for the Hardy Display section at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. He sits on the editorial panel of Curtisandrsquo;s Botanical Magazine, the worldandrsquo;s oldest plant journal, and has written regularly for Kew magazine. His other books includeand#160;Alpines, from Mountain to Garden andand#160;Tulips: Species and Hybrids for the Gardener.
