Synopsis
For 16-year-old Lem of Planet 51, life is good. A model kid and science nerd, he dreams of dating Nera, the girl next door. Lem's easy existence is suddenly disrupted when a spaceship lands in Nera's backyard during a family barbecue. The ship's confused captain, Charles Baker, plants his flag but panics when he realizes he's not alone. He flees to the planetarium, where Lem works. Terrified, the denizens of Planet 51 call in General Grawl and his army to lead the paranoid pursuit of "alien invader" Baker. Lem is the captain's only hope -- but can he overcome his fear of breaking the rules to help the lost astronaut?
