Up and away, off to the moon flies little Wills red balloon. Dan McCann was a television news producer for ten years before becoming a writer. Once, when his sons red balloon got away from him in the wind and shot skyward, Dan told him it was off to the moon. Thats when the thought of a “rescue mission” occurred to him. Dan lives with his wife and three children in Omaha, Nebraska.
Nathan Hale is the author and illustrator of two books, The Devil You Know and Yellowbelly and Plum Go to School. Both books feature loads of monsters, but dont worry, Balloon on the Moon is completely monster-free. Nathan has never actually been to outer space, but he has lost a large number of balloons.
