Balloon on the Moon

Up and away, off to the moon flies little Wills red balloon. His big brother, Jake, volunteers to bring it home safely, but first hell need permission from NASA—and his parents—if he wants to join a space rescue mission.  Being the youngest astronaut in history isnt easy, though. The launch is bumpy, and outer space is very far from home. Dan McCann was a television news producer for ten years before becoming a writer. Once, when his sons red balloon got away from him in the wind and shot skyward, Dan told him it was off to the moon. Thats when the thought of a “rescue mission” occurred to him. Dan lives with his wife and three children in Omaha, Nebraska.

Nathan Hale is the author and illustrator of two books, The Devil You Know and Yellowbelly and Plum Go to School.
