About the Author
ANNA GROSSNICKLE HINES is the author of more than fifty books for children, many of which she also illustrated. She and her daughter, Sarah Hines-Stephens, collaborated on a collection of board books about Bean the cat and his puppy friend, Soup. Ms. Hines lives in Gualala, California.
