Synopses & Reviews
The preeminent adventure novel of the French Foreign Legion. Three noble English brothers battle a sadistic sergeant, fight violent desert tribes in North Africa, and unravel the mystery of a stolen jewel. Beau Geste has been filmed three times (not including Marty Feldman's The Last Remake of Beau Geste in 1977): first in 1926 with Ronald Colman, then in the 1939 classic with Gary Cooper and Ray Milland, and finally in 1966 with Telly Savalas as the sadistic sergeant. This is the only paperback edition in print.
