About the Author
Dr. Leon Root is an orthopedic surgeon at New Yorks Hospital for Special Surgery, where he also serves as the director of Rehabilitation Medicine and director of the Back School Program. A professor of Clinical Orthopedics at the Weill College of Medicine, Cornell University, he lives in New York City.
