About the Author
Helen Deighan is a UK-based quilter and teacher who specializes in dyeing fabrics in plastic bags, machine embroidery and embellishment. After studying textiles, she began to make her own quilts and dye her own fabrics, and she has received many prizes for her patchwork and quilting. She enjoys sewing, knitting, spinning, coil pot making and Japanese braiding. She writes articles in international textile magazines and teaches various techniques from her own studio.
