About the Author
RITA F. REDBERG, M.D., M.Sc., F.A.C.C., graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and has a Masters of Science and Health Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics. She is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center and Director of Cardiovascular Women's Services for the UCSF National Center of Excellence in Women's Health.
