About the Author
Lari Don has spent most of her life in Scotland. A writer and storyteller who works with schools and festivals throughout the country, she has had eight books published, including the First Aid for Fairies trilogy, Tam O'Shanter, The Mountain's Blood, and Rocking Horse War. Cate James studied at Edinburgh Art College, where she now teaches. Breaking the Spell is her first children's book. Both live in Edinburgh, Scotland.
