Synopsis
Chatwin (1940-1989) was one of the most remarkable and popular English authors of the '70s and '80s. The youngest director at Sotheby's, he was a member of the international art world and high society but left this in order to travel and write. After a meteoric career, Chatwin died of AIDS at fourty-eight.
