Caillou is feeling very proud: he knows how to use the potty just like grown-ups and has graduated out of diapers, except for at night. Even though Caillou really wants to use the big toilet all the time, sometimes hes just too sleepy to wake up. Daddy gives Caillou a step stool and a soft toilet seat to make it easier for him to use the big toilet. He understands how much Caillou would like to be out of diapers and that with time and patience, Caillou will succeed.
Synopsis
A gentle discussion about the subject of divorce ensues when the curious Caillou asks his cousins Amanda and Emilio why their mommy doesn't live with their daddy. As the children continue to play, Caillou learns about divorce, having two homes, and the feelings experienced by his cousins. He learns that it is important for Emilio and Amanda to remember that it's not their fault their mommy and daddy separated--their mother would always be their mommy, and their father would always be their daddy.

Synopsis
Caillou no longer wants to wear diapers even at night. Caillou knows now when he has to use the potty. Very soon, he hopes to use the big toilet and to no longer wear diapers at night.
A parents wish to have their child totally potty trained is not necessarily in line with the physiological capacities of their child. This book helps to understand that it is not parents who potty train their child but rather the child who does it on their own.
