About the Author
Bruce Asakawa: is a Landscape Architect, an educator and co-host of the "Garden Compass," California's most popular syndicated gardening program. He has taught horticulture for years at the University of California San Diego extension programand has chaired the California Certified Nurseryman's program.
Sharon Asakawa began working in the family garden center business after she and Bruce married. Together they have hosted the "Garden Compass," syndicated radio program (heard weekly throughout California.
