Synopsis
Golfing sleuths Harry "Win" Winslow and June Jacobs have to solve a mystery in Pebble Beach, the mecca for golf fanatics. At first the problem seems simple: Somebody has stolen the route plan for a golf course from Moore's architecture firm. Was it the assistant designer, the agronomist, the business manager (Moore's former mistress), the office gofer (Moore's current mistress)? Or was it a rival, a rabid environmentalist, or maybe even his own wife?
At first it's an easy par-three case -- a little sleuthing with enough time for a few rounds at Pebble Beach -- until Moore turns up dead. All of a sudden the sleuth's hole-in-one just hit a sand-trap.
Set in the spectacular scenery along Seventeen Mile Drive, this is a whodunit for anyone who loves golf(an estimated 24 million!) -- and everyone who loves a good yarn filled with humor, suspense, romance, danger -- and a wicked slice.
