Synopses & Reviews
Are you interested in astrology? Do you like to look back in history? Have you ever studied Celtic history or the Druids? Then Celtic Astrology is a book for you.
The ancient Druids were a Celtic intellectual class comprised of philosophers, priests, educators, historians, doctors, etc. Remembered as the "wise men of the trees, " the Druid priests revered and respected nature. They encoded their wealth of knowledge in a mystical runic alphabet known as the Ogham. With this alphabet, they came up with a Celtic tree calendar that consisted of a solar year of 365 days, divided into 13 lunar months of 28 days each, plus an intercalary day called Nameless Day.
According to Druid teaching, each tree has a dryad or tree spirit, which represents the spiritual nature in human beings. Because the tree signs function somewhat like the moon signs in traditional astrology, they bring to light many of the details of your inner world: emotions, feelings, spirituality, and the subconscious mind.
The tree signs include:
Birch (Dec 24 to Jan 20)
Rowan (Jan 21 to Feb 17)
Ash (Feb 18 to Mar 17)
Alder (Mar 18 to Apr 14)
Willow (Apr 15 to May 12)
Hawthorn (May 13 to Jun 9)
Oak (Jun 10 to Jul 7)
Holly (Jul 8 to Aug 4)
Hazel (Aug 5 to Sept 1)
Vine (Sept 2 to Sept 29)
Ivy (Sept 30 to Oct 27)
Reed (Oct 28 to Nov 24)
Elder (Nov 25 to Dec 22)
The Nameless Day (Dec 23)
Celtic Astrology reintroduces this ancient system for your use. No prior knowledge of astrology is required to use this book. All you need to know is the day and month of birth. Your natal horoscope does not change; it is the same as it has always been. However, the interpretation of your natal chart is greatlyenhanced by the addition of your tree sign and the new information it conveys.
Inside, you will find a comprehensive analysis of each tree sign and each sun sign of the traditional zodiac. In addition, there is an analysis of each of the tree sign/sun sign combinations, plus an exercise, spell, ritual, or meditation specifically created for each combination.
