About the Author
James Otis Thach has a penchant for rhyme that was inspired by his grandmother, who used to exchange verses with him. When not racking his brain trying to rhyme words like
sauerkraut and
purple, he runs a tutoring company with his brother.
A Child's Guide to Common Household Monsters is his first picture book. He lives in Los Angeles.
David Udovic received a BFA in painting from the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning at the University of Cincinnati. For thirty-four years he has made his living as a commercial and fine artist. He has also provided numerous illustrations for children's magazines. A Child's Guide to Common Household Monsters is the second picture books. He lives in New Jersey with is wife, Susan.
