About the Author
Anthony Haden-Guest is a cartoonist, journalist, and author. His drawings appear weekly in the New York Observer, and his stories have appeared in such magazines as Talk, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, Details, the London Observer, Sunday Times and Telegraph, and Paris Review. His recent books include True Colors: The Real Life of the Art World and The Last Party: Studio 54, Disco & the Culture of the Night. In 1979 he was awarded a New York Emmy for writing and narrating the comic documentary The Affluent Immigrants for PBS. Born in Paris, he moved from London to New York City in the late seventies. He continues to live in New York City.
