About the Author
Melissa Caruso-Scott co-founded alt.coffee and opened Tonic, both in New York City. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, John, and their two young sons. Melissa currently produces concerts and writes a popular blog for Super Sonic Kids.
Tracy Macks first novel, Drawing Lessons, was named a Booklist Top Ten First Books for Young Adults, a New York Public Library Book for the Teen Age, a Bank Street College Best Book, and a Teen People Next Award Finalist. She and her husband divide their time between Brooklyn, New York, and the Berkshires.
Oliver Lake is a professional childrens book illustrator who likes creating art that appeals to both children and adults. As well as illustrating numerous books, he also exhibits at art galleries and sells prints of his work online.
