About the Author
WILLIAM MA is a math consultant and former chair of the Math Department at the Herricks School District on Long Island. He also taught as an adjunct math instructor at Baruch College, Columbia University, and Fordham University.JANE R. BURSTEIN, in addition to being an ACT and SAT tutor for numerous years, is an Adjunct Instructor and Student Teaching Supervisor in the College of Education at Hofstra University, including preparing secondary-school ELA teacher candidates on creating effective edTPA portfolios. She has gone through training with Pearson, the edTPA administrator, to grade Seconday ELA portfolios.
