This distress signal is for use only where there is grave and imminent danger to a vessel or person.

About the Author
Basil Mosenthal has sailed extensively in all the oceans of the world. After leaving the Royal Navy he was a partner in one of the first yacht deliver firms. He has since written many books about sailing, of which this is a Fernhurst best seller.
