Synopsis
First of all, let's get this straight, I am not a snob. Maybe
I had the image of one in the past, but not anymore. The
truth is, I'm now much more compassionate, hence the
play on words in my title of this book. With knowledge
and persistence, you can have a very comfortable life, but
remember, money does not buy you happiness. It can help
you acquire material things that people see. Underneath it
all, we try to acquire material things to try to change the
image of ourselves. Yes, image helps, but what makes you a
good person is what is inside; that is our true individuality.
You can have the life that you want if you don't just let things
happen. YOU make them happen Be ready to work though
Don't always judge a book by its cover. You may be surprised
as to what's inside. We all tend to want to follow the crowd
to be accepted. That is what I wanted, to be accepted by my
professional peers, other moms, and my clients, and I thought
my image would get me there ... wrong again Working on
the inside is what matters. It's hard work, it takes persistence.
Synopsis
Compassionate snob is a book that was written by a woman who is recovering from a severe brain hemorrhage, due to a ruptured AVM that leads to a stroke. She wants to give her knowledge for others that can't express themselves. This is a very real account of her experience. Writing was her only outlet at the time.
