About the Author
Betty Davis Jones is the Department Chair for Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy at Gaston College in Dallas, North Carolina. She is a member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Medical Assistants, the North Carolina Society of Medical Assistants and the North Carolina Association of Medical Assisting Educators. Mrs. Jones is a licensed registered nurse and a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and holds a Master of Arts Degree.
