Synopses & Reviews
To commemorate Julio Cortazars hundredth anniversary, the International Cronopia began its demands for a new look at the man and the author. In response to these demands, we came up with a simple idea that would turn out to be a pretty challenging project: an illustrated biographical dictionary, or photo-biography, self-documented with portraits from every period of Cortazars life: photos of every one of his first editions; some of his publications in newspapers and magazines; an anthology of texts accompanied by his personal objects and paintings; reproductions of original handwritten and typed manuscripts; unedited scribblings; and, scattered throughout, the reminiscences of those who were his closest friends.
Synopsis
