About the Author
Maia Francisco is a graphic designer and sound artist with degrees from Escola Massana Centre d'Art i Disseny and Conservatori Superior de MÚsica del Liceu in Barcelona. Her work has been exhibited at Zeppelin Festival in Barcelona as well as the Fabrikfest in Switzerland, and she recently completed a collaboration with artist Christina Kubisch in Berlin. She is the author of the highly acclaimed Sourcebook of Contemporary Graphic Design (Collins Design, 2009), as well as the graphic design editor for MaoMao Publications.
