Synopsis
Cliff Sandalwood, is a former firefighter who left the states to escape the hurt of finding out on his wedding day that his fianc cheated on him and went on their honeymoon alone to Freeport, Bahamas, while there he decided to stay. He then landed a job at the famous Xanadu Resort And Marina as head of security for the hotel and Howard Hughes right hand man. Julia St. Ives is a young up and coming actress looking for her breakout role that will earn her the Oscar she dreamed of as a child. When she finds out that Howard is producing a new movie she knew she needed to go to Xanadu. Lloyd, the bellhop, who looks out for Cliff thinks it's time for him to find love again and when he meets Ms. St. Ives and knows she would need to get pasted Cliff to meet Mr. Hughes, Lloyd thinks this would be the perfect opportunity for Cliff to find happiness with Julia ..
Synopsis
It's 1974, and the iconic Xanadu hotel-the most renowned resort in the Caribbean-is the playground and secret hideaway of Hollywood's jet set. So when aspiring actress Julia St. Ives hears that Howard Hughes is casting his latest movie there, she books a flight and finagles a room there, certain this will be her big break.
Unfortunately, the only way to get a meeting with Mr. Hughes is through his personal gatekeeper, the attractive and aloof Cliff Sandalwood. But Julia has a plan to convince Cliff to introduce her to Hughes . . . until she falls for him.
Heartbroken after his fianc e cheats on him, Cliff Sandalwood has sworn off women-especially actresses. Then he meets Julia. Beautiful and genuine, she seems different from other women who just want something from him. Drawn together by a visceral connection, their blossoming love is as romantic as it is unexpected.
