About the Author
Melissa King is the founder of mywholefoodlife.com, where she chronicles her family’s journey into healthy eating, and DIY Nut Milks, Nut Butters, and More. A vegetarian for 16 years, in 2012 she went vegan and quit all processed foods with her family. King hopes to inspire others to live a more healthy life. My Whole Food Life has 179,000 likes on Facebook, and over 70,000 followers on Pinterest. King’s recipes have been featured on iVillage, Self.com, Greatist, POPSUGAR Moms, and more, and her Chocolate Almond Banana Bites won first place in a “healthy chocolate” contest on the Today show, where Joy Bauer sang their praises.
