Synopses & Reviews
The Do-It-Yourself Constitutional Amendment Kit offers a simple, straightforward way to get involved in our democracy, refresh your knowledge about the laws that govern the land, and offer your own suggestions on how to amend the current document as it relates to the issues effecting you in the here and now. From the major to the minor, The Amendment Kit will provoke discussion, debate, and action in order to retain the freedoms we claim as "rights." None other than Thomas Jefferson stated that "we the people" should revise the Constitution every 20 years in order to reflect the growth of our country, our evolution as a species, our relationship with the rest of the world, and the interests of the citizens it was designed to serve. We've got a lot of catching up to do.
Synopsis
Pocket-Pilot city guides are perfectly practical travel guides that put most guidebooks to shame. The guides are shirt-pocket sized, easily folded, laminated for durability, and easy to read. They are packed to bursting with useful information such as how to use/navigate the public transit system, a brief guide to the citys most popular points of interest, a neighborhood-by-neighborhood description of the city, listings of parks, cultural events, and hot spots, notes on local cuisine, and useful phrases - and, above all, a detailed street map with magnifications of prime areas.
